Since its inception in 1997, the Institute of Maritime Studies (IMS) Goa has established a remarkable track record of nurturing skilled maritime professionals. Our commitment to Knowledge, Competence, and Discipline has consistently translated into exceptional placement results for our cadets.
We are proud to share that we have maintained a near 100% placement rate for our cadets since our very first batch. This achievement is a testament to the quality of our training and the strong relationships we have cultivated with leading shipping companies in India.
Every year, representatives from prominent shipping companies visit our campus to conduct selection processes. Cadets who successfully clear these selections are offered admission to our pre-sea training programs.
Remaining vacant seats are then offered to candidates who wish to pursue the course without guaranteed placement.
While IMS Goa does not guarantee placement for candidates who join without prior selection, we are committed to supporting all our cadets in their career aspirations. We make every possible effort to arrange placement opportunities for non-selected cadets, and we are pleased that we have consistently achieved placement for all cadets who have joined the institute so far.
